Approved Training organizations

The NDCB recognizes that there are many doula training organizations in the nation that are different and the (NDCB) exists as a non-profit entity that aims to elevate the national standard for professional doulas. The National Doula Certification Board’s mission is to set the standard for the professional practice, training, and learning outcomes for the doula profession. This is achieved by creating a standard of professionalism, preparedness, knowledge, and skill for doulas and establishing a national certification process that can be used with confidence by any interested party as a measure of an individual’s qualification to practice as a doula. If you feel that your organization/training program meets the high level of training, professional practice and connects with our mission and vision, we request you submit an introductory email with basic information about your organization, and why you feel your Institution should be considered. Once this is reviewed the NDCB will reach out to schedule a discovery call to learn more about your organization.
