How to File a Complaint or Grievance
Any complaints against a candidate or certified person must be submitted using the Program Complaint Submission Form, found in the form sections of this website. The form must be submitted within 30 days of occurence of an incident via email at info@doulaboard.org.
In order to qualify as legitimate, complaints must be:
- Specific to a section of the Code of Conduct and Standards of Professionalism or certification rules
- Specific to a section of the Scope of Practice
- In writing by the individual lodging the complaint
- Supported by specific evidence of such accusation
- Made against a current candidate for or holder of a NDCB certification
